Event Log Update
Upload event log files directly into FUTUROOT. Event logs serve as the foundation for Process Mining and contain all transactional data required to generate process maps, KPIs, and conformance analyses.
ℹ️ Event Log files must be uploaded in .xlsx format.
Access via Extraction → Event Log Upload.
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Connector
- Create – Click Create and enter an Event Log Name. Click Next.
- Upload File – Upload the .xlsx file, click Upload and Preview. FUTUROOT validates the structure
- Map Columns – Map mandatory fields: Case ID, Activity, Event Timestamp. Map optional fields: Case Dimension, Event Dimension, Value, User.
- Configure Working Days & Hours – Define organizational working schedule for cycle time calculations.
- Select Currency – Choose the applicable currency (USD, EUR, INR, GBP, etc.). Click Done.
Upload Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Success | Event Log uploaded successfully. Available for process creation. |
| Failed | Upload failed due to validation or processing errors. |
Data Quality & Sanity Checks
FUTUROOT automatically performs quality and sanity checks during upload. Summary cards are displayed after entering the Preview screen:
- Records – Total number of records
- Columns – Number of mapped columns
- Estimated Upload Time – Updates dynamically after quality checks
- Cases – Total unique Case IDs
- Quality Score – Percentage representing overall data quality
- Issues Summary – Total issues detected, most affected column, and type of failure
Click Quality Report for a detailed report with Column Name, Quality Check, Value, Row, and Remark. Includes graphical Column Analysis and Quality Check Analysis charts.
Make Consistent Feature
When inconsistent values are detected in Case Dimensions, a red validation icon appears. Click it → select Make Consistent. FUTUROOT identifies the first occurrence of each Case ID and uses it as the master value, updating all inconsistencies. Click Apply to confirm.
Data Anonymization
Protect sensitive user information by enabling anonymization for columns mapped as User. Check the Anonymization checkbox when mapping. Before uploading, create an Anonymization Key (required to view the original-to-anonymized mapping later).
⚠️ Store the Anonymization Key securely. It is required for future reference and to access downloaded mapping files.
Delta Event Log Upload
Upload only new or modified records instead of a complete Event Log. Navigate to the Event Log list, click Edit (Delta Upload) icon, upload the Delta file, and click Submit.
ℹ️ Delta Upload functionality is available to users with appropriate administrative permissions.
