Object Centric PM

OCPM extends traditional process mining by allowing analysis across multiple interconnected business objects simultaneously — providing a more realistic view of how processes actually operate.

Traditional process mining uses a single case identifier (e.g. Order ID). OCPM tracks the lifecycle and interactions of multiple related objects: Purchase Orders, Invoices, Deliveries, Customers, Materials, Assets.

Object-Centric Event Log (OCEL)

An OCEL captures relationships between events and multiple business objects. It records: business events, object identifiers, object types, relationships between events and objects, and event timestamps.

Uploading an OCEL

Access via Extraction → OCEL Event Log Upload. Two files are required:

Understanding the OCPM Process Map

Each object type is automatically assigned a unique color applied to object nodes, process paths, and connectors. Activities shared by multiple object types are immediately visible, showing intersections and dependencies.

Each object journey contains a Start Node (first event) and End Node (final event).

FR Prism Control Panel

Access from the Process Map section. Contains:

  • Object Centre – Total objects, count by Object Type, assigned colors.
  • Activity Centre – All visible activities, associated object types, color indicators.

Global Filters

Click the Global Filter icon in the upper-right corner. Open the Object Filter section, select one or more object values, and apply. The process map refreshes showing only the selected data.
